Permanency for Foster Youth

Adopting the Older Child
Making A Difference in the Lives of Waiting Children

More than 500,000 children remain in public foster care with no permanent home. The Barker Foundation, with the generous support of The Freddie Mac Foundation, partners with public social service agencies, combining our resources to make a difference in children's lives. We are seeking couples and singles who have room in the homes and hearts for a waiting child who needs a "forever" family.

Might that be you? Barker offers:

	Specialized pre-adoption group training to prepare families
	Adoption home study (3-4 interviews with an adoption consultant)
	Matching/referral of children legally free for adoption
	Pre-placement meetings/visitation with child
	Placement of child and six month of post-placement services
	Lifelong access to Barker's Family & Post-Adoption services
