Pregnancy Counselors
The Barker Foundation seeks Tidewater-based BSW or MSW for contractual work as pregnancy counselor, working with women who are considering adoption, and with their extended families. We are specifically seeking social workers who live in the Tidewater area (e.g., Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Norfolk, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News, James City County, Yorktown, Poquoson, Williamsburg, and Gloucester). We are also seeking BSW or MSW in the Richmond area to assist with crisis pregnancy counseling. Flexible schedule, some evening or weekend hours. Applicants must have car.

Contract Social Workers
The Barker Foundation is seeking licensed, MSW level social workers to provide support to the Project Wait No Longer, Older Child Adoption Program. Positions needed include home study & post placement social workers as well as foster care and adoption trainers and presenters. Experience in foster care, older child adoption or parent training and public speaking is preferred. We are seeking individuals that are willing to work flexible hours within the tri-state area (MD, DC & VA) including some evenings and weekends. Applicants must have a car.

Foster Care Provider - District of Columbia
